Halloween Greetings

Happy Friday!!!

This will be my last Halloween card for this year.

I kept the design simple to allow the fun image and fabulous Graphic45 paper to shine.

I used the Costume Stack Perfectly Clear set for this card.

The images were colored with Prisma colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

I hope that you are all set for the holiday!

Stampendous is having a little hop to celebrate our love of Graphic45 papers and their generosity to our desingn team....and there are prizes!

So go check out the details

Dotted Background

I am loving this new Dotted Background die from The Stamps of Life.

I used it to create the red and green panels on this card.

Santa and the sentiment is from the Santa2stamp set.

I know this is a background that I will get a lot of use out of!

I am sure that you would too so go pick one up!
There are some other great samples in the gallery!

Have a great rest of the week.

Happy Thanksgiving

I just love this time of year...not because of all things pumpkin spice but because of all the awesome excuses for card making!

Teacher cards, my sons birthday, Halloween, and today....Thanksgiving!

I used the new Chillin' Tommy Turkey image from High Hopes.

I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and blended with blending stumps and gamsol.

I used the "outside the box" technique to trim around the pumpkins on the image.

The paper was some scrap in my stash.  It is probably from Michael's or Hobby Lobby!

The ribbon is orange seam binding.

I hope you enjoyed today's card.

You're How Old?

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend.   I had a super relaxing hang out at home kind of weekend which is my favorite kind!

Today I have a quick card to share that I made with the Sizzix Oval flip it card die from The Stamps of Life.

I used the Candles4birthday stamp set and the matching paper, Celebrate Collection

I also used the new Stictched Ovals Only.

These oval dies allow you to add the stitched oval to the paper with out actually cutting out an oval!.

Here is the "inside" when the card is flipped open!

What a fun birthday card to give to someone!

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope you have a terrific week!

Trick or Treat

Just a little more than a week and Halloween will be here!

So it's the perfect time to share this fun card that I made using House Mouse Designs, Mouse Costumes image from Stampendous.

I colored the image with my Prisma colored pencils and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.

Then sentiment is from the Tricky Words perfectly clear stamp set.

I hope you and your kiddos are enjoying the fall season and all the fun that comes with it!

Swinging Birthday

I have another BIG card to share with you today!

This is another 5 x 7 card That I made for one of the ladies at work for her birthday last week.

I used High Hopes image, Lil' Swinger.

The sentiment is from Stampendous.

The flowers are from my stash.  I think they are recollections from Michaels.

When I first started making 5 x 7 cards I found them a little intimidating because there was so much surface to cover.  But now I am having a lot of fun because I can use so many layers!

Happy Holidays

Happy Wednesday!

I have another Christmas Card to share today.  I's not even Halloween yet...but I have a lot of cards to make in the next few months.

I used the Stockings4christmas set for the front.

The best part of the card is the inside, where I used the new Sizzix Happy Holiday drop in dies.

Here is a closer look at the inside.

There are so many awesome drop in's that you will want to collect them all!

Check out all the samples in the gallery!
