Birthday Dude

Happy Friday!

Friday is my day to post on the High Hopes Blog and I have a great Masculine birthday card to share with you.

This card measures 5" x  7" because I made it for one of the guys I work with and we need room for the 20+ people in our department to sign it.

The image is Bob Loves his Motorcycle from High Hopes Stamps.

I colored it with Prisma pencils and blended it with gamsol and blending stumps.

The sentiment is Happy Birthday Script.

The paper was from my scrap folder and is a couple of years old but it's from Hobby Lobby.
The dies are Fitted Frames by Stampendous.

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and that you get some time to stamp this weekend!

Scrapping my Road Trip

Stampendous released this new stamp set at the perfect time!

I had just come home from a camping trip and wanted to scrap my pictures.
Here is the page I made.

This section was created with four different stamps that are in the set.
I colored the stamped images with prisma colored pencils.

I used the tree, the star, the dirt and a sentiment for this section.

For this fun trailer, I stamped it on a white scrap, colored it, and then fussy cut it out.

This stamp set is perfect if you love the outdoors!
It will make cute cards as well as fun scrapbook pages.

Bunny Bloom

Happy Friday!

Hello High Hopes Fans!  I am back with a bright fun card featuring an oldie but goody from High Hopes Stamps!

This is Bunny Blooms.

We have been having such beautiful, sunny weather here in California the last few days that I just had to make a bright spring card.

The image was colored with Prisma colored pencil and blended with gamsol and blending stumps.
The patterned paper is from a pack of Doodlebug Designs paper.
The flowers are Recollections from Michael's.

I hope you enjoyed today's inspiration and that you get some time to stamp this weekend!

Border Words

Stephanie has some more amazing new dies at The Stamps of Life!

These are called Border Words by Sizzix.  I used both of the word dies that come with the set for my twoButterfly2build stamp set cards today.  I hope you like them.

For my first card. I die cut out "you are beautiful" out of variegated patterned paper from the Thank You collection paper pack.

I love the way it looks against the licorice background.

The butterfly is from the butterfly2build stamp set.

For my second card I started by die cutting the Circle Stand up card out of strawberry cardstock.

Then I die cut the words out of the bottom portion of the stand up card and put the patterned paper behind it.

I just love how cute it is when it is open and standing up!

The Strawberries are from the strawberries2stamp.

Make sure you check out this new die set and all the other great products at
